Tom Stice steps down as
Director of Leather Archives &
Museum
CHICAGO, IL - January 17, 2010 - The Board
of Directors of the Leather Archives & Museum
[LA&M] announced today that Tom Stice has decided to
resign his position on the Board of Directors, a
position he has held since
2001.

| "Tom
has been an influential Board Member for the LA&M,
investing his time, network and numerous public
appearances for the benefit of the museum" said Chuck
Renslow, Leather Archives & Museum President and
founder. "He spoke with many leather men and women
about the importance of their history and the LA&M.
His connections in Chicago, Atlanta and Fort
Lauderdale were pivotal in spreading the word about why
saving this history was key." added Renslow. In
addition to providing outreach opportunities for the
LA&M, Tom served on several Board committees
including special events and grants. In 2004, Tom
helped to establish the LA&M President's Award to
recognize outstanding contributions to the institution.
In 2005, Tom presented the first President's Award
at the LA&M's mortgage burning celebration.
