Become a member of the Leather Archive & Museum’s Ensinger Society, recognizing your generous support through a legacy gift to ensure the ongoing preservation of leather, kink, fetish and BDSM history, art and culture.
The Ensinger Society is named for Mark Ensinger, whose legendry No 6 Dungeon in Novi, MI brought pleasure and pain to thousands over the years. Mark was an original member of DELTA and a member of the Chicago Hellfire Club. Mark knew the importance of preserving his own history, and the history of the organizations and individuals who mattered to him. Mark passed away in 2017, and his will included a generous bequest to Leather Archives & Museum that donated 25% of his estate, plus all of his dungeon and play equipment to be sold as a fundraiser for LAM. This gift enabled LAM to replace its 50+ year old roof which was besieged with leaks. Our irreplaceable collections are safe and secure today thanks to Mark’s planned gift.
There is no minimum gift to become a member of the Ensinger Society; simply let us know that you have named LAM as a beneficiary in your Will, Living Trust or estate plan, or named LAM as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, other financial accounts, or an insurance policy.
As a member of the Ensinger Society, you will receive invitations to exclusive events and behind the scenes tours of the archives, as well as a commemorative pin to proudly show your support for our shared history. Your generosity will also be acknowledged in LAM’s publications and on its website, unless you prefer to remain anonymous.
